This October 4th, 2010, I celebrate my two year wedding anniversary with Jessica Angeline Duncan Felfoldi. In that spirit, this week I’m posting daily the quotes that we placed upon tabletops at the wedding.
We individually collected these quotes throughout our childhoods, reviewed them, and selected them. We hand-made the placards on which they were displayed — selecting the paper, cutting, and pasting them together while sipping away on margaritas and sharing a plate of fajitas on our weekly Thursday Wedding Planning night. We blame the crooked cuts on the second (and sometimes third) margaritas.
We still reserve every Thursday night as our date night — going to plays, restaurants, and various events. And to this day, we still share fajitas whenever we go to a Mexican restaurant. I like that.
